Frequently Asked Questions
Does this include all countries in the world?
The default wheel includes 30 of the most globally recognized countries. You can easily edit the wheel to add more — click any country label to edit or add additional countries. There are 195 UN-recognized countries you can include.
How is the country selected?
The wheel uses crypto.getRandomValues() — cryptographic randomness sourced from your device's hardware. Each spin is independent and genuinely random. Every country on the wheel has equal probability.
Can I filter by continent or region?
Remove countries you don't want by clicking the × next to them in the entry list, or click any label to rename it. You can set up a Europe-only wheel, an Asia-only wheel, or any regional subset you need.
What's a good use for a random country picker?
Travel planning (spin to decide your next destination), geography education (learning capital cities and flags), world history research prompts, cultural exploration challenges, and international cooking nights where you cook a dish from the randomly picked country.
